Dear School Families,
In the second reading today, St. Paul reminds the Thessalonians that the Lord strengthens us. He ends his letter with, “May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the endurance of Christ”. Let us pray the same as we begin another busy week at St. Clare.

The Kindergarten, 5th, and 8th grade class reps and our Mothers’ Club officers have been hard at work preparing for our Fashion Show which will be held this coming Thursday, November 10th. Thank you to all of the parents who have lent their talents or sent in donations to this major fundraiser. A special thank you to the event sponsors. We look forward to a wonderful evening!

Safety is one of our primary concerns at St. Clare. This past week, Protective Security Advisors from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security conducted a site visit at our school. A report with recommendations will be shared with the school in a few weeks. Thank you to Mr. Lou Trimboli for organizing the visit and to Mr. Collegio for assisting in this very important work.
Inscription for our 7th grade Confirmation students will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the Church on November 15th. We ask that at least one family member (or sponsor) attend the ceremony.
The induction ceremony for National Junior Honor Society will be held in the church at 3:30 p.m on the 15th as well. Family members are welcome to attend.
Report cards will be available on TADS on November 18th. Please be sure that tuition is up to date.
