Dear School Families,

We light the pink candle this week as we celebrate the 3rd Sunday of Advent, also known as  Gaudete Sunday. Today we rejoice in joyful anticipation knowing that our Lord is near!

Please once again be mindful of our neighbors’ driveways on Lindenwood Rd. and Highmount Rd. as you park at pickup. Do not worry. Your child will be in a staff member’s care as you take the time to park legally.

We are thankful to our PreK Class Reps, Mrs. Castellano, Mrs. Gentile, Mrs. Salvaggio, Mrs. LaTorre, and Mrs. Lutrario for planning a fun-filled Breakfast with Santa for our youngest students! Thanks too to Mr. Puliafito, Mrs. Vicky John, Mr. Lutrario, Mrs. Napolitano, Mr. Capriotti, Mrs. Abruzzo, Mrs. Contino, Mrs. D’Ambrosio, Mrs. DeMartino, Mrs. DelPriore, Mrs. Fitzgerald, Mrs. Gardella, Mrs. Plaza, Mrs. Spensieri, Mrs. Vella, Mr. Quirk and our maintenance staff, and all of our PreK parents for all of your help. We appreciate our St. Clare alumni and current students who were on hand to help out as well. As always, thank you to our Mothers’ Club officers Mrs. Bongiorni, Mrs. Wilkie, Mrs. Sarcona, and Mrs. Cox for all of your help on our many events.

Congratulations to our own Ms. Meagher on her wedding to Mr. Michael Rodriguez! We wish you a lifetime of happiness and love!

All St. Clare dads are welcome to join members of the Dads of St. Clare at Joyce’s on December 14th at 6:00 p.m for a bit of holiday cheer.

This week we look forward to our PreK and 8th grade pageants. 

Our PreK 3 pageant will be held in the CCC on 12/14 at 9:00 a.m. Siblings should be brought to school after the performance if you would like them to attend. The PreK 4 pageant will be held in the CCC on 12/14 at 12:00 p.m. Please sign out any siblings from the big school before the performance if you would like them to attend. Siblings may be brought back to school after the PreK 4 pageant if you would like.

Our 8th grade pageant will be held in the Church on Friday, December 16th at 7:00 p.m.. Our 8th graders are asked to come to school at 12:00 p.m. on the 16th for a 1:00 dress rehearsal for our school children. 8th grade students are welcome to come to school at regular time if needed.

Thank you to all who have donated new toys to our Jr. Giving Circle Toy and tab top drive for the Ronald McDonald House. New toys and tab tops (can flip tops) can still be sent into school.
