Dear School Families,
I hope everyone had a wonderful mid-winter break!
This Sunday we observe the first Sunday of Lent. In today’s Gospel (Mt 4:1-11) we read of Satan’s tempting Jesus in the desert. As we celebrate Lent this year, may we avoid temptations and pray for a closer relationship with our Lord.
A special thank you to Dr. Napolitano, Mrs. Napolitano, and Mrs. Lutrario for their informative visit with our PreK students. The students had a wonderful time learning how to care for their teeth!
Congratulations to our 8th grade students who received their 8th grade pins and school rings on Friday, February 17th. It is hard to believe that graduation is just 4 short months away! Thank you Mrs. Kneeshaw and Mrs. Miller for organizing a lovely reception for the students and their guests after the ceremony.
Congratulations also to our 2nd grade students who received the sacrament of Reconciliation on Friday, February 17th. We look forward to their First Holy Communion in May.
This week we are excited to honor our wonderful teachers and aides on Friday, March 3rd. We are truly blessed to have such a caring and dedicated faculty!
Students whose parent/guardian attended the Father’s Club meeting on February 21st may dress down on Tuesday, February 28th.
Please be sure to place Nucci’s orders as needed as a new month begins mid week.
This Friday’s First Friday Mass will be led by our 2nd grade students and teachers. It is sure to be a beautiful Mass.
We are so happy that our after school art programs with Mrs. Bocchino will be returning this week with the 5th - 8th grade program beginning this Wednesday, March 1st and the studio program beginning this Friday, March 3rd.
Winter MAP reports will be sent home by the end of the week. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
Please be sure to review the list of upcoming events that follows.
Have a blessed week!
