There is a scene in one of my favorite movies, Faith, Hope, and Love, in which the dad who is a widower reflects on the beauty he sees every morning when he drops his girls off at school as mothers lovingly say goodbye to their children.
I have the pleasure of seeing the same every morning as moms, dads, and siblings lovingly say goodbye to each other in the morning. It is this love that we see in the actions of our students, be it 3rd grader AJ helping a new bus student with his seat belt or 2nd grader April as she also comforted a new bus student, sitting next to him for his first ride. It is these acts of kindness that give us joy! May we all be inspired to live our faith by being kind to someone this week!
There is a viral Tik Tok video that is encouraging kids to take tags from backpacks. Please remove the tags from backpacks and keep them at home.
Parenting is a constant challenge especially with the ability for our children to be instantaneously connected to an infinite amount of content created by people we do not know. It is difficult to find viewing and listening choices that model our catholic values of service and kindness. Tik Tok is NOT it.
Please monitor, as best you can, who your child is interacting with online, what they are watching, and what they are posting.
A special thank you to Mr. Ficchi, Mr. Romano, and Mr. Weaver for organizing the Nite at the Races. We appreciate all of their hard work organizing a wonderful event!

All requests for extended time on the 8th grade TACHS exam must be submitted by parents to the email address on the form by this coming Friday. Please be sure to submit the form to the school office for approval as early as possible so that you can then submit the paperwork on time.
We appreciate our 7th graders who are participating in our Safety Patrol at morning drop off. It is imperative that students exit cars onto the sidewalk and not into the street to ensure the safety of all of our students.
Parents please do not return to school after 2:45 p.m. for forgotten books as there is no additional staff to escort students through the building. Kindly write the teacher a note indicating a book was forgotten.
This week we look forward to First Friday Mass led by our 6th graders.
Have a blessed week!
