Week of 4/4/2022
Dear St. Clare School Families,
This week was a busy one with the ELA state exam for students in grades 3 - 8. Thank you, students and teachers for all of your hard work! This week our kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd-grade students gathered in the church to learn more about the Stations of the Cross. Thank you to our 2nd-grade students for leading the discussion. We also had an opportunity to admire the beautiful stained glass windows that feature the life of St. Clare.
I am happy to report that Mrs. and Mr. Griffo’s surgeries went well. We pray that both Mrs. and Mrs. Griffo have a speedy recovery!
This week is the final week to send in donations for the Bread of Life Food Drive. Thank you to all who have already donated. Please continue to send in donations if possible.
We look forward to our Easter Hat Parade with our PreK students this coming Friday.
Deacon Salhany has organized Stations of the Cross led by mothers and sons this coming Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the church. We encourage our school families to participate. Students who attend will receive a dress-down day.
2nd-grade families, please be sure to schedule a time for pictures if you plan on having them taken by Yearbook Innovations at our school. A Constant Contact was sent out with the link to register last week.
Plans are in the works for a confirmation party for our Confirmation students. The party will be held on June 2nd at 7:30 p.m. in the Cardinal Cooke Center if protocols allow. Please go to https://tinyurl.com/confirmationparty to register.
We are happy that we will be able to welcome students to our STEM, Art, and Summer Bridge programs this summer. Registration forms will be available soon.
Updates and reminders for the coming week follow.
Have a Blessed Week!
Mrs. Olsen
