1/22/23
Dear School Families,
In this week’s Gospel (Mt 4:12-23), Jesus calls Simon (Peter), Andrew, James, and John to follow him. They immediately leave all of their worldly belongings to do so. We are also called to follow Jesus. While we are not leaving our worldly possessions behind, might we not at least devote some time each day in quiet prayer, talking with our Lord? In school, we start each morning with prayer. It is a time to quiet our minds and focus on our Lord. I hope this week brings us all the opportunity to grow closer to the Lord in prayer.
