In this week’s Gospel (Mk 10:17-30) a young man asks Jesus, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?". In his reply, Jesus mentions the 10 Commandments, but goes further stating, “..Go, sell what you have, and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.". In this day and age of consumerism this seems like a seemingly impossible task. Perhaps we can strive to not put things before our relationship with our Lord. May we all make it a priority this week to set aside time to strengthen our relationship with our Lord through prayer.
The dismissal change that was put in place for Friday’s dismissal will also be used on Tuesday, October 15th. NO CARS MAY BE PARKED IN THE PATHWAY OF PRAYER.
K-1, 1-1, 1-2, 4-1, 4-2, 7-1, 7-2, 8-1, 8-2 will be dismissed from the door behind the rectory.
K-2, 2-1, 2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 5-1, 5-2, 6-1, and 6-2 will be dismissed from the Hicks Center door (Pathway of Prayer circular drive next to the church). We kindly ask those picking up from the Hicks Center to wait in the circular drive with Kindergarten parents/guardians in the front followed by 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade. On Tuesday, the teachers will escort the children away from the door so that there is more room.
Dismissal doors will change as the construction work on the campus continues. IRIS Alerts will be sent out to share changes. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and patience as repairs are made.

On Tuesday, October 7th, our 2nd through 8th grade students gathered in the church to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary by praying the rosary together. The prayers were led by members of our Rosary Club, while 7th grade students presented a tableau for each of the 5 Joyful Mysteries. All students received a beautiful rosary chaplet, provided by the Rosary Club moms, which were blessed by Father Jacob, Father Arthur, and Father Brendan during the liturgy.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Father Jacob, Mrs. Pietrofesa, Mrs. Jaconetti, and Mrs. Lukowski for their wonderful idea. Special thanks as well to Mrs. Vautrinot, Mrs. Continanzi, Mrs. Kneeshaw, and Mrs. Miller for their help in guiding the students through the tableau performances.
