Dear School Families,
In today’s homily, Father Joseph reminded us that God gives us the gift of free will and that we are called to make good choices. This week let us pray that God guides us in all we do and say.
Congratulations to 5th grade student Aly Isler and the Weaver Family for their 1st and 2nd place wins in our World’s Finest Chocolate Contest!
All students may dress down in red for Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14th. No crop tops, slides, or ripped jeans please.
We look forward to our 2nd grade’s Valentines Day Show on the 14th at 8:30 a.m. in the school auditorium.
Wednesday, February 15th is a 12:00 dismissal day for Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be via Zoom. Please contact your child’s teacher if you need an appointment.
Our 8th grade students will receive their 8th grade rings (for those who have ordered them) and pins at their Reflection Ceremony at 8:30 a.m. in the church on Friday, February 17th. A small reception will follow in the cafeteria.
Our 2nd grade students will receive the sacrament of Reconciliation at 7:30 p.m. on February 17th in the church.
Thank you to Mrs. DiStefano and Mrs. Nitti for planning a wonderful Father - Daughter Dance for our students. Thanks too to our many parent volunteers, Mrs. Bove, Mrs. Gilsenan, Mrs. Festa, Ms. Alleva, Mrs. Cronin, Mrs. Gervasi, Mrs. Sabillon, Mrs. Collegio, Mrs. Assile, Mrs. Guerci, Mrs. Hopkins, Mrs. Cortes, our Mother’s Club Officers, and student volunteers Nicholas Scaramuzzino and Jay Jay Alleva for all of their help! Thanks also to the Father’s Club for their donation for the event.
School will be closed for mid-winter break the week of February 20th. Enjoy the time off!
