Dear School Families,
Our first full week of school has been a busy one!
It was wonderful to see the students engaged in active learning. Unfortunately, there was a rise in the number of positive COVID cases this week. Please be sure to report any positive cases to the school office.
We have decided to tweek our aftercare program to make it more efficient. K -8 students will be brought from the cafeteria to the classrooms at 2:45. Therefore, please go to the Lindenwood Rd. door if you arrive to pick up your child after 2:45. Pick up for PreK students remains at the PreK until 4:15p.m. After 4:15, PreK students should be picked up at the Lindenwood door as well.
Just a reminder…students should be sent to school with their lunch if they are not ordering Nuccis. There have been several instances of lunches being dropped off during the school day which causes disruption.
MAP testing begins this coming Monday, September 19th. Testing will continue through October 7th.
Saturday, September 17th is the St. Clare night at the Ferryhawks. Come join other St.Clare families to cheer them on if you are available.Be sure to arrive by 5:15 if you would like to be in the St. Clare group picture.
I hope to see many of our school families at the 10:00 Mass on Sunday. Be sure to bring your backpack for a blessing.
We look forward to our catalog sale and Mothers’ Club meeting this coming week. Please see below for more information.
God Bless,
Mrs. Olsen
