Week of 1/10/22
Today we say a bittersweet goodbye to Ms. Marie Noel. Ms. Noel has been a joyful support to our school, teachers, students, and staff as she has helped us to celebrate our faith in liturgies and sacraments. We wish her well as she pursues a wonderful opportunity, helping others to grow in their faith as she has helped us to grow in ours.
Sadly, our students were unable to wish Ms. Noel well in person as the 3rd grade Mass scheduled for 1/7 was canceled due to our snow day. I will be sure to give Ms. Noel the beautiful spiritual bouquets the students made for her this Sunday when I see her at Mass. Thank you for sharing your spirit with us, Ms. Noel. May God bless you in all that you do!
Fr. Patrick will also be leaving our parish shortly. We are planning on a special craft that the children will make to show Fr. Patrick our gratitude for his time with us and to wish him well. We ask that each student bring in a paper towel or toilet paper cardboard tube for the craft.
COVID Cases--Our community is experiencing a surge of COVID cases. Please do not send your child to school if he/she is exhibiting COVID symptoms. Please notify the school if your child is awaiting a PCR result. A Zoom link will be provided for them. Children should not be in school while they are waiting for a PCR result.
The home tests that were recently sent home may be used if your child is experiencing symptoms. Please see the document that was sent home with the kit for more information.
First Reconciliation Retreat--Retreat will be virtual this year given the surge of COVID cases. Students and parents from Class 2-1 and Class 2-2 will attend the virtual retreat on Saturday, January 22nd at 9:00 a.m. Ms. Revello and Ms. Meagher will provide parents with the link when it is available.
Registration is now open for all. Please see the school website for more information.
